Serving with purpose.
Leading with compassion.
You B4 Me began with a simple belief: everyone deserves to be seen, supported and treated with dignity.

Meeting essential needs. Restoring dignity and hope.
To serve underserved individuals and families through food and grocery assistance, clothing, hygiene essentials, seasonal relief, spiritual encouragement and compassionate outreach.
The problem we address
Food insecurity, housing instability, financial hardship and inadequate access to everyday essentials can prevent families from meeting their most basic needs. You B4 Me responds through direct outreach and partnerships with shelters, volunteers and local businesses.
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord.”
PROVERBS 19:17
Compassion. Serving without judgment.
Dignity. Respecting every person.
Collaboration. Working together to reach more neighbors.
Our volunteers in action
Meet some of the dedicated team members who help make You B4 Me community outreach possible.

Building a national lifeline of essential supplies.
Our long-term aspiration is to become Illinois’ largest nonprofit essential-needs distribution center, securing a dedicated building where donated groceries, toiletries, hygiene items, seasonal clothing, and other necessities can be received, stored, packed and shipped to shelters and families throughout the United States.
We envision a reliable distribution network powered by corporate partners, manufacturers, community organizations and volunteers.
This is an expansion vision. Our established outreach programs currently focus on Chicago and surrounding communities.

Why we show up.
“Every family deserves to feel supported. Every senior deserves to feel remembered. And every child deserves hope for tomorrow.”
What started as community outreach in 2010 grew into a volunteer-led mission to provide essential supplies and meaningful encouragement to neighbors facing hardship. We remain committed to building a stronger, more responsive network of care.
